In the month that saw the general election debate heating up, Euros football sweeping the nation and Taylor Swift taking over the UK, we achieved an enormous amount of media coverage for our clients.
Read our blog to find out how we achieved a record-breaking month for IPP, were made to feel ‘blessed’ by national news on a sneezing cat, earned front page glory in the local press and delivered national coverage to raise awareness of a deadly disease in our pets…
Hits, hits and more hits for IPP
Our experts in logistics have achieved a pallet-full of coverage for IPP this month, well in excess of 20 individual hits. Stories appeared in The Grocer, Logistics Manager and Motor Transport online.
We work closely with the team at IPP to identify the most topical, interesting and above all newsworthy stories to share with the audience/s they want to reach. News of a new Head of UK&I Business proved a particularly popular story this month, especially in the logistics industry.
Bless you! Cat appears in national press
A story which really caught the attention of the media this month was about Leo, a cat who was excessively sneezing for a fortnight, until the vets at Wear Referrals, part of Linnaeus, identified a four-inch blade of grass stuck in Leo’s nose.
Now breathing easier, Leo and owner Jason were happy to share their story with our team of veterinary PR pros who told the tale to help other pet owners who may have noticed similar signals from their own pet. Thanks to Metro for featuring the story on page 3 of their national, free pick-up edition which will have been seen by hundreds of thousands of commuters across the country in June.
Blythe Liggins’ support for annual event makes a splash
Our longest-serving client, Blythe Liggins solicitors, continue to be seen across their local and industry-focused target media titles.
This month, their ongoing support of the Two Castles charity 10k run, for local charity Myton Hospice, saw them achieve front page coverage in the Leamington Observer, as part of an overall PR campaign which delivered around 20 individual press hits, across multiple channels, including key Reach PLC publication In Your Area.
We deliver services across multiple professions and the team remain agile to the news agenda of the day and the needs of all our clients and their business interests.

Deadly disease warning earns national interest
One of the most important roles we play in our PR service for veterinary professionals is to highlight cases of illnesses or trends seen by the vets and/or pet owners – it’s something we’re quite famous for!
This month, we worked with Davies Veterinary Specialists to discuss a rise in cases of a disease known as ‘Weil’s’ – or Leptospirosis – which affects animals with severe liver and kidney damage, among other organs, and can transferred between animals.
We’ve raised awareness of this disease, and the rise in cases, in over 100 UK news titles across the nation, including in Scotland, South Wales and all four corners of England.
If you missed it, see our May PR highlights to look back on some of the other brilliant work we’ve been showcasing as a group.
