Customs Support Group(CSG) is Europe’s leading provider of customs clearance and trade solutions for a wide range of businesses.
THE CHALLENGE
Ourobjective was to create a drumbeat of positive PR coverage for CSG, focusing on a thought leadership campaign which positioned the client as experts in their field.As experts in logistics PR we developed a strategy covering a wide range of topics to create content about, based on our knowledge of the logistics media landscape.
OUR APPROACH
Customs is a complex field and has an important role to play in many aspects of trade. We have followed the news agenda to seek out comment opportunities across a wide range of topics and media titles, positioning CSG as the authoritative voice on and barometer of international trade.
Our work has included reactive PR, providing valuable commentary to journalists on topical issues such as the impact of Donald Trump’s tariffs and talking about planned regulatory changes and their impact on business.
THE RESULTS
The majority of the PR coverage achieved for CSG in 2025 has been commentary on topical issues, with the highlight being a comment piece with a backlink on Forbes looking at the impact of the EU/US trade deal.
Key multimodal titles such as Freight Business Journal, Forwarder, Multimodal and International Transport Journal regularly use commentary provided by CSG, including this comment piece on goods classification.
We have also secured other thought leadership PR coverage in vertical titles, including a piece on retail returns which was featured by leading ecommerce outlet Internet Retailing.
