Our team of experts in media relations picked up right where they left off in January, earning a plethora of PR hits for our clients to start the new year in the best way possible.
Let’s find out more about the print, online and broadcast coverage we secured last month.
Celkom Transport’s new warehouse launch hits the news
Pallet-Track member Celkom Transport has opened a newly-refurbished 50,000sq ft warehouse at its site in York, helping to meet the increased demand for logistics support.
The story – ran across multiple industry titles – highlighted an important topic in the sector, enabling businesses to accommodate growth to meet demand in the marketplace, as well as focusing on Celkom’s efforts to become even more sustainable in its business practices via the new warehouse.
Media focus on both brands highlighted the importance of sustainable values within both businesses and shone a light on Pallet-Track’s ethos to become carbon neutral.
Zak says ‘konnichiwa’ to the next stage of his racing career

R&Co’s resident racing driver client, Zak O’Sullivan, has been bursting with new announcements to kick off 2025. Formerly of the Williams Racing young driver programme, news of Zak’s latest career move – signing for Kondo Racing and taking part in this year’s Super Formula series in Japan – was widely covered thanks to the work of our automotive PR team.
Zak quickly followed up this news with another career announcement in January, signing for Envision Racing to take part in a series of testing events for the Formula E team.
These latest moves will enable Zak to experience some of the best racing around the world, while globetrotting across Asia, the middle east and in Europe. We’re looking forward to following Zak on his journey (if we can keep up with him!) throughout the upcoming season.
Miracle for Pearl after horror injuries from hit-and-run incident
Our veterinary PR team covered a heartwarming story in January of border collie Pearl who endured life-threatening injuries from a hit-and-run incident off a country lane near the dog’s home in Somerset.
The significance of the story, coupled with the fantastic treatment by our client – Cave Veterinary Specialists – made it the perfect mix for a range of media to pick up on the news, from broadcast coverage on the BBC, to local interest news in Somerset.
Fortunately, the happy ending to the story prevailed with three-year-old Pearl now back on her feet and enjoying life again, while her owners and the team at Cave were able to share the dangers and warnings around issues concerning hit-and-run incidents for our pets, in the hope we can help to avoid further cases by bringing the matter to attention in the national and regional press.
Double recognition for R&Co clients in regional awards
Last, but certainly not least, it was celebrations all round for some of R&Co’s esteemed clients in January, with the new year bringing with it the good news that two of its advocates had been shortlisted for awards with the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber.
Kevin Johns, former managing director of Prime Accountants, will be up for the Inspirational Individual award when the awards night takes place in March.
Meanwhile, Meriden-based IPP have been named as a finalist against some of its biggest peers in the region in the Planet Saver category. The awards night is on 27th March, and we wish both Kevin and the IPP team the very best of luck on the night!
