Andy Burnham’s first weeks as Prime Minister didn’t dominate all of the news headlines in September. R&Co’s PR team made sure our clients also enjoyed their fair share.
Constructing media headlines for BauWatch
There were no alarm bells ringing for our newest client BauWatch, as we secured a raft of coverage for the mobile security solutions specialist.
BauWatch produces an annual crime report, looking at the trends and challenges around construction site crime.
This year’s report highlighted some striking figures around the high numbers of site staff who have either lost work, or lost their jobs altogether, because of construction site crime.
Our outreach delivered 21 pieces of highly relevant coverage covering security, construction and vertical trade titles, as well as B2B and local press.
The coverage also earned 12 links to the BauWatch website to an optimised webpage created by our SEO team.
Highlights include coverage by Security Journal, Benchmark, Electrical Times and Northampton Chronicle and Echo.
You’re hired!
We helped William Davis Homes celebrate its latest intake of apprentices in the local and trade press, including a splash in top trade title Showhouse.
The Loughborough-based housebuilder welcomed the latest plumbers, bricklayers, scaffolders, electricians and joiners to its apprenticeship scheme, which is has been running since the 1970s.
Laying the Groundwork for Miller Homes
While the team at Miller Homes East Midlands were busy digging in for a great cause, our property PR specialists were lining up a strong story for the local press.
A team from the housebuilder volunteered with charity Groundwork Five Counties, trading their day jobs to complete outdoor improvements at a popular Mansfield country park to support local families and wildlife.
The hands-on day marked the launch of a wider charity partnership between the housebuilder and Groundwork to protect local green spaces and was widely covered by the local press, including In Your Area.
Charity donation kicks off latest project
Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track made a generous donation to Walsall FC Foundation’s Saddlers United Project, which aims to bring the town’s diverse communities together.
The innovative project will see the introduction of themed matchdays combining football, food and cultural experiences.
We ensured the news reached both the local community that the project will benefit and the logistics press, with coverage in the Express & Star and leading title Motor Transport.
Marking a major milestone
As Romania charity Speranta Shelter prepares to mark its 30th anniversary in October, our vets and pets PR specialists kicked off the celebrations with coverage in the UK veterinary trade press.
As part of the milestone occasion, Speranta Shelter is offering UK colleagues an on-the-ground perspective of its pioneering model after turning its family-run rescue into one of the country’s largest legally registered dog shelters, with an on-site veterinary hospital, recovery rooms and mobile clinic.
The shelter has carried out more than 100,000 sterilisations of stray dogs across Romania and believes this, along with education, are how dog populations can be reduced.
We got tails wagging in the trade press with coverage from Vetpol and VetClick to share Speranta’s story with a veterinary audience.
