From being named Medium Consultancy of the Year at the Midlands PRCA Dare Awards, to racking up more than 3,800 media hits, 2025 has been a strong one for Team R&Co.
We’ve welcomed new clients across the board, including personalised gifts brand My 1st Years and veterinary brands Hallmarq and Ronda Vet. International dog charity Speranta Shelter has also been taken into the R&Co fold, with some of our team making the trip to Romania to see its life-saving work in-person.
We’ve secured international hits and national broadcast coverage, along with being featured in numerous trade and local titles. What else did you expect from our award-winning PR agency?
As we wrap up 2025, let’s take a look at some of the campaigns our PR pros are most proud of, as well as some examples from brands which have been top of their game this year.
Sam Smith’s favourite PR campaigns of 2025
Our property and construction PR expert, Sam Smith, ensured our housebuilder client Miller Homes had a year to remember. It was a heart-warming story which stood out most to him in 2025.
Sam said: “My favourite campaign to cover this year was Miller Homes’ support for Louie Thomas – a six-year-old boy who is autistic and lives locally to Miller Homes’ new Frimley Square site in Frimley.
“Louie is hugely enthusiastic and knowledgeable, insightful and inquisitive about housing and construction.
“He was first invited by Miller to see the site as a VIP, for a behind-the-scenes tour after demolition work had taken place at the start of the year, on the week of Louie’s sixth birthday.
“Miller then invited him back for a surprise reveal of their sensory room within the showhome at the development – something rarely done in UK new homes/showhomes. The room has been inspired by, and dedicated to, Louie.”
PR inspiration of 2025
Sam added: “As a football lover and a dim sum connoisseur – the partnership we didn’t know we needed between The Wealdstone Raider and Itsu was absolutely in my wheelhouse this year as a marketing campaign.
“Using the social media presence of TWR’s famous “You want some?” chant with the twist of replacing ‘some’ with ‘dim sum’ was an absolute masterstroke from Itsu’s marketing team and it’s something I’ve racked up plenty of online views of this year, and I know I’m not alone in doing so!”
Laura Kearns’ favourite campaigns of 2025
Laura has years of experience writing for and about animal charities in the UK and internationally, and was excited to be part of the R&Co Team working on the Speranta Shelter campaign.
Laura said: “It’s great to be able to use our expertise at R&Co to support such a worthwhile charity as Speranta, which is a cause close to my heart. Visiting Bucharest to meet the team and the shelter dogs in-person was a real highlight and showcased the importance of the charity’s work. It’s been exciting to see its profile grow in the UK thanks to our efforts and secure some great coverage to date.”

Laura added: “Move over John Lewis, this year’s heart-warming Christmas campaign goes to Dogs Trust.
“It follows the Christmas Day of a rescue dog and his human best friend, recognising the effort and love dog owners put into giving their pets a safe and happy home.
“The campaign highlights that for dogs the best gift is a loving home, and shines a light on animals in rescue waiting to find theirs’.”
Tom Payne’s favourite PR campaigns of 2025
Account director and veterinary PR specialist Tom has been working in veterinary PR for nearly a decade. Throughout that time, he has worked tirelessly to raise awareness of fatal dog disease Alabama Rot, and 2025 has been no different.
Tom said: “We have been working with Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists to highlight Alabama Rot to dog owners for many years, winning multiple awards along the way.
“This year has (thankfully!) seen far fewer fatalities than previous years but that wasn’t a reason for us to rest on our laurels.
“We carried out media liaison work with BBC South and worked on a project which resulted in real impact – coverage raising awareness of the disease to dog owners was achieved across BBC TV, radio and online, while other national publications then picked up the story.
“Searches for Alabama Rot increased by 1,500 per cent in the days following the coverage. A real result.”
Best PR campaign example of 2025
Tom added: “I am loving the Waitrose Christmas advert campaign. Picking Joe Wilkinson on the back of his successful appearance on The Traitors to star alongside Kiara Knightly, poking fun at well-loved festive rom-com Love Actually was inspired!
“Great fun, product and brand at its heart and something a bit different to the tried and tested Christmas ads in what we all know is free-for-all, as well as festive, season! Bravo!”
Komal Khedkar’s favourite campaigns of 2025
Social media account director Komal’s favourite social media campaign was for Miller Homes to spread a ‘stay active’ message.
She said: “One of my favourite influencer marketing and PR campaigns this year was Miller Homes’ Get Moving work with Old Northamptonians Ladies RFC at Norwood Quarter, because it never felt like ‘just marketing’.
“It felt like a real relationship between a place, a team, and a community, with Miller Homes actively backing ONs Ladies by sponsoring individual players and bringing the squad into the Gresham showhome to show the kind of people who live there: active, team‑spirited, rooted in Northampton, and proud of local women’s sport.
“Inviting a real local team instead of influencers completely flipped the usual playbook and made every reel and photo feel more genuine and PR‑worthy.
“The contrast of a cosy home setting with powerful rugby skills was so visually unexpected that it became scroll‑stopping, shareable, and perfectly in sync with the ‘get moving’ and ‘stay active’ message – selling both the homes and the lifestyle without ever feeling like a hard sell, which is exactly why this campaign stands out for me.”
Favourite PR example of the year
Komal said: “LEGO took the most predictable part of race day, and the part most people skip watching usually – the drivers’ parade and turned it into a moment everyone wanted to watch and share, with all 20 drivers rolling around in life‑size LEGO cars like kids who’d snuck onto the grid.
“It felt so much fun and human and the way social feeds were flooded with clips and memes never felt forced or ‘ad‑like’.
“As a female F1 fan, it softened the usual intense, macho vibe of racing and made the whole thing feel more inclusive, like an inside joke everyone was invited to enjoy, not just hardcore fans. It showed how fun and welcoming the sport can be when brands get a little playful.”
Ian Gallagher’s favourite PR campaigns of 2025
R&Co began working with Speranta Shelter this year, a Romanian charity which is home to more than 500 dogs. As a team of dog lovers, it was a win for everyone to represent a cause close to our hearts.
Ian said: “My favourite R&Co campaign is Speranta Shelter. It was fantastic seeing our veterinary PR experts spread their wings and head overseas to support such a great cause – a Romanian non-profit committed to transforming the lives of street dogs.
“I didn’t work on this campaign, so I felt very proud looking on from afar at this wonderful example of how far we’ve come in recent years.”
Best PR example of 2025
Ian said: “My favourite campaign – while not strictly 2025 only – is the Jaguar rebrand. That launched at the end of 2024 and tongues haven’t stopped wagging since.
“A car brand beloved of older guys who are no longer making them any money comes up with a deliberately provocative rebrand, which is dismissed as ‘woke’ and annoys the likes of Donald Trump and Nigel Farage. What’s not to like about that? Meanwhile, a whole new audience of young, aspirational motorists who would never have considered driving a Jaguar sit up and pay attention.
“Time will tell if it’s bold genius or a complete failure. I hope it’s the former, just because of the types of people it’s managed to irritate!”
Jack Stocking’s favourite campaigns of 2025
SEO account director Jack has been working with clients to improve their websites, resulting in greater visibility online and more business enquiries.
Jack said: “My favourite SEO campaign was creating high-quality content in the form of blogs and sector pages around the topic of Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS) and ambient food for Marshall’s Transport. This led to them receiving relevant enquiries from companies in the ambient food and storage sector.”
Favourite PR example of the year
Jack said: “I liked the Mira Showers Freeze Frame campaign with Gloucester Rugby to promote the first cold shower experience – especially being someone who likes to dip in and out of having cold showers in the morning, no pun intended!”
Megan Foster’s favourite campaigns of 2025
Social media account manager Megan has been improving client’s organic social media results, which were clear to see with our campaign with Miller Homes.
Megan said: “My favourite project this year was filming and editing the reels for Miller Homes South Midlands to promote the new Arlesey Gate development in Arlesey, Bedfordshire. The first video received strong engagement, with nearly 100,000 views across TikTok and Instagram, and lots of positive comments from the audience.”
Favourite social media example of the year
Megan added: “My favourite social campaign led by a brand was Argos’ Arghaüs – a fictional gallery created as part of a mockumentary-style social series, featuring well-known UK creators and comedians. A fun, creative campaign that felt fresh and genuinely entertaining while still marketing their products.”
Sarah Ross’ favourite PR campaigns of 2025
From new operating hubs to putting sustainability front and centre, R&Co has covered some great news for our logistics clients in 2025.
Sarah said: “The logistics industry has had a tough few years and doesn’t often grab headlines for positive reasons, so it’s a pleasure to share good news stories on behalf of Pallet-Track’s shareholder members.
“My favourite is the story of Cheshire haulier S. Cooper & Sons which celebrated its centenary in 2025.
“The company, founded by Samuel Cooper in 1925, began by delivering coal and milk via the canal and rail networks and is now run by the fourth generation of the Cooper family.
“It was great to see the company being celebrated for this major milestone in trade titles like Motor Transport and its local media.”
Favourite PR example of the year
Sarah added: “Peppa Pig’s media domination was not on the PR bingo card for 2025, but the children’s cartoon achieved an incredible amount of column inches this year with a porker – sorry, corker – of a campaign.
“First, the pregnancy of Mummy Pig complete with scan photo sent the internet into a frenzy in February, followed by the arrival of baby Evie in May.
“The volume of coverage and buzz created in the media was impressive, but for me, it was Hello!’s exclusive first-look photoshoot and interview that elevated this one.”
