JANUARY PR COVERAGE HIGHLIGHTS AT R&CO COMMUNICATIONS

As one communications specialist went on to win The Traitors, R&Co’s media relations faithful wasted no time in banishing the January blues by delivering excellent results for our clients. Here’s just a selection of the print, online and broadcast coverage we secured in the first month of 2026.

NATIONAL MEDIA ATTENTION FOR IMPORTANT LIFE LESSON

The subject of preparing for death while you’re still living provided a fantastic opportunity to Blythe Liggins to put forward their expert guidance on how best to set yourself and your family up for the future. 

Expert comments from Donna Bothamley were used as part of a piece used by The Telegraph – resulting in national media coverage from a website which possesses a 94 domain authority score – and later syndicated by the likes of AOL and Yahoo Finance.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT FROM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

National housebuilder Miller Homes’ annual initiative to contribute towards the communities in which the developer is based or is building in hit the news again in January, starting the new year with a boost for tens of groups across the country. 

Our property and construction experts helped the housebuilder to tell the story of grants provided to a wide range of community groups including neuro care charities, disability groups, and a toy appeal project.

PANELLING PARTNERSHIP IN THE PRESS

We worked with our client Customs Support Group on a case study about its partnership with sustainable wood panelling manufacturer, Medite SmartPly, which gained lots of valuable column inches across the construction, furniture and building press in January. 

The success story generated nine valuable backlinks and an estimated 28,300 article views. These included Builders’ Merchants News, Timber Trades Journal and Furniture News.

EUROPEAN ANIMAL SHELTER CALLS ON UK SUPPORT

R&Co’s pet care experts are driving the UK communications for Romanian-based Speranta Shelter as the charity’s mission statement to rescue, re-home and rehabilitate stray dogs continues. 

Leading media titles for the sector, The Veterinary Edge and Pet&Vet, were two of the publications to run a story in January to mark the latest update from Speranta Shelter on its sterilisation and education programmes as the European charity calls on UK support to help meet its goals.

FUTURE VISION FOR VETERINARY MEDICINE

The experts in veterinary marketing, not for the first time, made a splash across the pond to kick off the new year. R&Co’s work with Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging has provided an opportunity to mark a significant collaboration between Hallmarq and Patterson Veterinary, in a move described as a ‘strategic partnership’ by Hallmarq CEO, Mick Crosthwaite.

News of the partnership was quick to land in several outlets across the US media, including The Horse and Just Horse Riders, addressing the positives and opportunities this move provides for advanced imaging solutions in the market.
