While the first flowers of spring were making an appearance, we made sure results continued to bloom for our PR clients. Here’s just some of the coverage we secured in March.
90’s pop star shown ‘What is Love’ at Speranta Shelter
You may know Haddaway from his 90s hit ‘What is Love’, but did you know he’s also a huge animal lover? He recently visited our client, Speranta Shelter in Romania to help cook for its 500 dogs, many of whom are disabled or elderly.
News of his visit was covered in a range of titles, including respected veterinary publication the Vet Times and international news website Romania Insider.
Other coverage for the charity throughout March also included a feature in The Mirror and MSN following a press trip to the shelter, and articles in local titles including The Cornish Times.
The ‘write’ kind of publicity for new SEND school
Specialist provider Hatfield Wick Education has been a key player in the conversation around SEND, especially in Essex where it is based.
Our education PR experts secured a visit from BBC Radio Essex, who broadcasted a SEND special live from the school, taking a tour and interviewing founder Adam Smyth.
‘Amazing’ coverage for inspirational Demi’s visit to Downing Street
William Davis Homes electrician Demi was invited to meet the Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street as part of an event celebrating inspirational women.
Along with securing coverage on websites like Leicestershire Live and East Midlands Business Link, news of Demi’s visit also featured in print in the Leicester Mercury.
Demi said: “It is so surreal, I just went and picked up a copy of the Leicester Mercury. Thank you everyone so much for making this happen – I’m so truly grateful for all these opportunities and the news coverage has been amazing!”
Top advice from Leamington law firm
The Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph were among titles to include advice from law firm Blythe Liggins on how to protect your money when living with dementia.
In March, our professional services PR specialists also secured coverage on the law firm’s sponsorship of a charity run in Warwickshire. A total of eight local newspapers featured the story, which revealed all places for the race had already been booked.
Movers and shakers at Miller Homes
Housebuilder Miller Homes received plenty of coverage across the board in March.
The launch of its exciting new South West region hit the headlines in both local and business titles, as did plans for a new development.
Over in the East Midlands, a raft of new appointments were featured in six titles, including leading the way on Showhouse’s Movers and Shakers careers feature.
Flower power
International pallet pooler IPP made sure products from its client Flamingo Flowers hit the shelves right on schedule for Mother’s Day.
With flowers being the go-to for many grateful sons and daughters, we made sure to time our release perfectly, securing coverage in logistics and transport titles like MultiModal and Motor Transport, local news websites, business sites and horticulture websites like HortWeek and FloralDaily.
R&Co goes for gold
While still on a high after a bumper month of awards nominations in February, we received the news we were up for Best Digital PR Agency at the National Digital Awards.
It comes after an incredible four nominations at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Awards and the CIPR Midlands Awards 2026.
