Speranta Shelter

With the nights drawing in and the clocks rolling back, R&Co’s team of media relations experts just had time to pause their pumpkin carving to deliver exceptional results for our clients in October. Ahead of Halloween, we achieved a frighteningly strong month of coverage across broadcast, online and print media.

INNOVATIVE IMAGING TECH TAKES OFF

The launch of standard setting equine imaging technology by Hallmarq proved a hit with the veterinary and business media, keen to learn more about the science and metrics behind the product following its launch at Birmingham BEVA.

Our veterinary PR experts helped the team at Hallmarq to create noise around the launch of the product which will help transform the care of horses, improving the accuracy and speed of diagnosis.

TELFORD LOGISTICS FIRM EXPRESS TURNOVER DELIGHT

A family-owned logistics firm and member of the Pallet-Track network – Telford-based G Force Express Ltd – has been celebrating its record turnover.

The story featured across key B2C and B2B titles for the company, including Motor Transport and Shropshire Star, thanks to the support of our dedicated logistics PR pros.

CHARITY RAISES AWARENESS OF MANDATORY UK DOG TESTING

A new ruling announced to make testing for a rare disease mandatory for dogs entering the UK has been welcomed by a Romanian dog charity.

Speranta Shelter’s opinion on the ruling, which will ultimately protect dogs travelling to UK shores, was widely received across media titles. The story received no fewer than 15 press hits in October, achieving online coverage in several titles with a domain authority ranking of 50+. The news comes as the Romanian charity launches its new website to help more dogs find their forever home.

SCAFFOLDING SCENARIO CLIMBS THE NEWS AGENDA

Positioning our clients as experts in their own fields continues to lead towards some fantastic results. In October, we shared comments and insight from Blythe Liggins’ Jagdeep Sandher on the topical subject of scaffolding encroachment from a neighbouring property, during National Scaffolding Week.

This resulted in a story being published and Jagdeep’s comments used across no fewer than 180 press titles, thanks to the timely response of a client coupled with the expert execution in media relations from our professional services PR team.

COVERAGE ROLLS IN FOR STOURBRIDGE GARAGE OPENING

The re-opening of a Stourbridge garage hit the news in October, with 10 pieces of press coverage online and in print titles for Protyre Autocare.

As well as online hits in the likes of Express & Star, Yahoo News and The Business Desk, the story was covered in three different newspaper series, including Stourbridge News.

Our media relations experts also delivered coverage for Protyre in the national media during October, featuring survey data on the number of UK drivers potentially getting behind the wheel with unsafe or illegal tyres on their car.

NEW APPOINTMENTS SECURE PRESS PROMOTION FOR IPP

Two key appointments made by IPP to bolster its senior leadership team earned the attention of multiple press titles across B2B and B2C media in October.

The announcements of Martin Stacey and Andrew Lee joining the business helped to achieve no fewer than 16 independent press hits, across titles including MSN, Transport Journal, Motor Transport and Warwickshire World.

BABY NAME BOOM FOR OPHELIA SET TO SWIFTLY RISE

Experts at My 1st Years believe ‘Ophelia’ is set for a dramatic rise in the baby naming charts thanks to the Taylor Swift Effect – following the release of the chart-topping singer’s latest single, The Fate of Ophelia.

The children’s personalised gifting brand earned media attention from NetMums and Rayo, supported by our media relations experts, following its prediction that more parents would now choose the name for their babies.
